Clouds float height in the atmosphere any fogs exist near
the surface of the earth. This is the basic different between them. The
commonest fog are seen in autumn, at night or in early morning over the low
lands and small bodies of waters. As the earth cools down at night , the air
above it also get cooler. When this
cooler air stick down upon the warmer surface of the land or water, fog
are formed. Generally , city fogs are much thinker then country fog. City air full
of dust and soot that mingle with tiny particles of water to form a thinker
blanket. One of the foggiest parts of the world is the coast of Newfoundland.
